Earlier this week, I accepted 'The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service' as one of the ambassadors for the fantastic charity Outside In. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.

I'm really proud of the work the charity do and I'm honoured to be a part of it!

BBC News report on the event.

'Outside In is a catalyst for change. Founded in 2006, it is now an established national charity that aims to provide a platform for artists who face significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation.'
